Effective: 2026
Pan-India Event
These Terms and Conditions ("Participant Terms") describe how Run Yodha ("we", "us", or "our") provides a platform for organising, managing, and running sports-related events ("Event"), and allows users ("Users," "Participant," "You," or "Your") to discover, register for, and participate in Events. Please read these Participant Terms carefully before registering. By proceeding, you are deemed to have read, understood, and consented to these Terms.
1. Use of Personal Data
The collection and use of personal information in connection with your access to and use of the Platform is described in our Privacy Policy, incorporated by reference into these Participant Terms. You agree that Run Yodha will process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and the Privacy Policy.
2. Registration and Onboarding
a) Eligibility
To register as a Participant, you must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under applicable law. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
b) Registration Information
During registration, you may be required to provide information such as name, phone number, email address, ID details, blood group, emergency contact, T-shirt size, postal address, and Event-specific details. You must provide a valid email address and mobile number, as these will be the primary modes of communication regarding the Event.
c) Category Selection
Participants must carefully select the appropriate Event category (3K / 5K / 10K / 21K) at the time of registration.
d) Registration of Minors
If you are completing a registration on behalf of a minor, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian and that the minor has your full consent to participate. All terms applicable to Participants shall apply to the minor, including the requirement of being medically fit to participate. Run Yodha reserves the right to conduct additional verification.
e) SMS & Communications
Run Yodha will send regular updates to the mobile number provided in the registration form. This should not be treated as spam — these updates are in your best interest as a registered participant.
f) Event-Specific Terms
You are responsible for reviewing any Event-specific terms and cancellation policy before completing your registration.
g) Accurate Information
You must provide true, accurate, current, and complete information, and keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
3. Booking Confirmation
- Once a registration is successfully completed, a confirmation will be sent to the Participant by email and/or SMS, and booking details will be visible in the Participant's account.
- Failure to receive a confirmation email does not, by itself, entitle the Participant to a chargeback or refund if the registration is successfully recorded. The Participant should contact Run Yodha support in such cases.
- Users should add Run Yodha's official support email to their address list to avoid missing crucial confirmation messages.
4. Payments, Cancellations & Refunds
a) Payment Terms
- Run Yodha accepts registration fees through authorized third-party payment gateways. Run Yodha does not operate or own the Payment Gateway and is not responsible for its uptime, security controls, or processing rules.
- Registration/ticket pricing is set by Run Yodha. Any convenience fee (if applicable) will be shown during checkout.
- If you do not receive a confirmation after successful payment, contact Run Yodha support promptly. Not raising such a query within a reasonable time may be treated as a waiver of any claim based solely on non-receipt of confirmation.
- By proceeding with a transaction, you authorise the Payment Gateway to process your payment instructions. Bank/issuer charges, card/network rules, authentication steps (e.g., OTP/3DS), and payment failures are governed by your bank/issuer and the Payment Gateway's policies.
b) Refund Terms
- All confirmed registrations are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be modified, unless expressly permitted under specific Event terms.
- Run Yodha shall not be responsible for refusal or non-processing of refunds, the quantum of any refund, or any errors or delays in issuing refunds.
- No refunds shall be provided if the Participant fails to attend the Event or opts not to participate for personal reasons.
c) Cancellation & Event Change Terms
- Tickets may be cancelled only if Run Yodha has expressly permitted cancellations, typically up to 24 hours before the start time or as specified.
- If an Event is cancelled, postponed, suspended, or materially changed for any reason (including force majeure, adverse weather, safety concerns, or official restrictions) — Run Yodha will not issue refunds and will not be liable for losses arising from such changes.
- Participants are solely responsible for verifying whether an Event has been cancelled or rescheduled. Run Yodha will make reasonable efforts to notify registered participants upon any such changes.
- If registrations are rejected by Run Yodha, any amount collected from rejected applications shall be refunded (excluding bank charges) unless otherwise stipulated.
Annexure A — Payment Gateway Terms
Applicable to all transactions processed through Run Yodha's authorized payment partners
- Authorization & Authentication: When you initiate a payment, you instruct the payment gateway to process the transaction. Your bank/issuer or card network may require additional authentication (including OTP/3DS) and may decline a transaction for reasons outside Run Yodha's control.
- Processing Role: The Payment Gateway acts as a payment service provider facilitating movement of funds. Run Yodha's role is limited to enabling checkout and relaying payment status to record your registration.
- Successful vs. Failed Payments: A registration is confirmed only when Run Yodha records a successful payment status. If the transaction fails, is reversed, or remains pending, no registration is guaranteed until confirmed.
- Duplicate/Erroneous Debits: In the event of an apparent duplicate debit or technical error, raise a ticket promptly with transaction reference details. Resolution timelines may depend on your bank/issuer's reconciliation process.
- Charges, Taxes & Currency: Any bank/issuer charges (including convenience fees, forex markup, or taxes) are levied by your bank/issuer or per network rules and are separate from Event fees displayed at checkout.
- Refunds & Reversals: Where a refund is approved by Run Yodha, it will be processed back to the original payment instrument and may take additional time to reflect as per bank/issuer timelines.
- Chargebacks/Disputes: If you initiate a chargeback, the process will be governed by card/network rules and your bank/issuer's policies. You may be requested to provide supporting information to Run Yodha to assess the dispute.
- Security Responsibilities: You must ensure that your card/UPI/net-banking credentials and device are secure. Run Yodha does not request your PIN/OTP — do not share such information with anyone.
- Data Sharing: To process payments and prevent fraud, limited transaction and identity-related information may be shared with the payment gateway and relevant banking/processing partners, subject to applicable law and the Privacy Policy.
- Liability Limitations: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Run Yodha will not be responsible for delays, interruptions, or failures attributable to the payment gateway, card networks, banks/issuers, or other third-party payment systems.
5. Amendments to Terms
Run Yodha may update or modify these Participant Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Platform and will become effective upon posting or as otherwise specified. Continued use of the Platform or participation in any Event after such changes shall constitute acceptance of the updated Terms.
6. Entire Agreement
These Participant Terms, along with the Event-specific terms (as applicable), constitute the entire agreement between you and Run Yodha and govern your use of the services, superseding any prior or contemporaneous agreements, proposals, discussions, or communications between you and Run Yodha on the subject matter hereof.
7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Participant Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Courts having jurisdiction in Mumbai, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or in connection with these Participant Terms.
8. Waiver & Invalid Provisions
The failure or delay of Run Yodha to exercise or enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. No oral waiver, amendment, or modification shall be effective under any circumstance whatsoever. If any provision of these Participant Terms is found invalid, the other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
